Simply Education our working with SEN settings in Oxfordshire to provide excellent SEN Teachers and Support Staff to work in these schools/units on a daily, medium and long term basis. We are therefore looking to recruit staff to start work in Sept 13 to fulfil a variety of contracts. If you are experienced in SEN and looking to work flexibly in the Oxfordshire area then your application is welcome.
Our schools cater for pupils who have a statement of educational needs for conditions such as Autism, ADHD and physical Impairments. Pupils may also have speech and language diffficulties and behavioural problems. Due to the unique nature of working in settings like this it is essential that the SEN Teachers and Support Staff have experience in this area.
The successful SEN Teachers/Support Staff will;
- Be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) or have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a PGCE, GTP or Bachelor of education.
- Have the ability and experience of teaching SEN pupils in the primary/secondary age groups.
- Have strong classroom management skills.
- Be able to deal with challenging behaviour, and a patient and creative approach is necessary.
- Be able to teach in a flexible manner suitable for students with special educational needs.
